Wade wanted a custom lathe turning tool for making pens.
We started with a chunk of 5/8 stainless rod... (For those who would know...yes I am silver soldering with a cutting torch tip...I was too lazy to change it.)
We ground a relief cut for the carbide cutter.
The ferrule is a 1/2 by 3/4 copper plumbing reducing bushing
A little buff job
Wade turned the handle out of walnut.
Finished product.Thursday, August 5, 2010
